What are your payment options?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, or post-dated cheques.
Are there any discounts available? Yes there are. We allow 5% off on a full year class payment made at the time of registration.
This does not apply to either the 10 week and 12 week programmes that we offer. Any student taking a combination of three (3) or more classes can also receive 5% off.
NOTE: this does not apply to performing company students.
What is your calendar year? Our year begins one week after the Labour Day holiday and ends approximately the third week in June.
Do you have a Year End Performance? Yes, we do. Any student in the full year programme is invited to participate in our Year End productions.
Is there an extra charge for the costumes for the Year End show? Yes there is. They range from $60 to $90 each.
Are your teachers qualified instructors? Yes all our teachers have credentials as well as years of practical and technical experience.
NOTE: We do not employ teachers under 18 years of age to teach your children.
If my child does not enjoy your classes, do you have a withdrawal policy? Yes, for full year registered students, we allow a withdrawal policy by giving one month's written notice by the beginning of the month. However, the last day that you can apply for this withdrawal policy is the 1st. January. NOTE: All of the student booked into the 10 week and 12 week programmes do not qualify for this withdrawal policy.
Does my Tiny Two require a uniform? No. Comfortable clothing and Robie slippers are quite satisfactory.
Do you offer Ballet, Jazz and Tap examinations? No. It is not mandatory for students to take exams at the Axis Dance Centre studios. However, depending on sufficient interest from our students for such exams, it is a possibility to work for such a programme in the future for those keen on examinations.
What are the fees for your classes? Please e-mail us or speak personally with us and we will supply the information you are seeking.
Do you charge for tickets for the Year End show? Yes we do. It is usually between $12 and $15 per seat.
Where do you hold your Year End shows? The location depends on theatre availability, hence the variation in the seat price charged to attend.
What is the usual length of the Year End show? Between 1½ and 2½ hours.
How many students are in your classes?
At two years old, a maximum of six (6).
At three years old, a maximum of 8 – 10.
Dance Combo, (4-5 years old), the classes have 10 – 12 students per class.
Ages six to eight years old, classes have 12 – 14 students per class.
Students eight years and up, classes have 14 -16 students maximum.
Is your studio wheelchair accessible? Yes it is.
